The Ladies Auxiliary Information
The purpose of this organization is Faith, Friendship and Service. The Ladies Auxiliary provides the opportunity for Christian women over the age of 18 and wives, (mothers, daughters, granddaughters, sisters and widows), of Knights of Columbus members to come together in fellowship with the primary goal of providing organized assistance to the Knights of Columbus, St. Malachy Council #5128. This organized assistance takes many forms and may include help at KofC sponsored events, fundraising assistance, and set-up and beautification of facilities. The organization also provides the opportunity to form friendships and serve Christ by serving our church and our community.

Photos of some of the handiwork produced by the KofC Ladies Auxiliary for sale in various events. So much of the funds gained by sale of such items have been used for a wide variety of useful and charitable functions.

KofC Ladies Auxiliary are the source of several major charitable fund raising events. Just as the Knights they, too, serve the community in a variety of ways. They support the Elizabeth New Life Center, the pro-life nonprofit organization that provides positive solutions for unexpected pregnancies, including throwing baby showers for the expectant mother as a positive affirmation and welcome to the new soul within.
St. Malachy council Ladies Auxiliary also work with the local Saint Vincent de Paul Society to foster hope by providing spiritual, emotional and material assistance on a person-to-person basis to the poor, lonely and forgotten in our community. Even outside of their efforts with Saint Vincent de Paul, the ladies often donate to families or individuals within the parish who are in need.
They raise money for their many charitable efforts through various annual fund raising programs, such as the annual Craft Show held Thanksgiving weekend. Other fund raising ventures include the Parish Cook Book, full of delightful recipes, and a Bake Sale that many in the parish look so forward to each year.
Of course, the KofC Ladies Auxiliary actively work and support several St. Malachy Council activities including, the Parish Picnic, Lenten Fish Fries, and annual Christmas Party.
