Social Events
KofC Council #5128 is very active in the organization, and staffing of Parish social events here at St. Philip the Apostle. Among those annual events are the Lenten Fish Fries, Parish Picnic, Parish Dance (in conjunction with the parish Fellowship Committee), and the annual Spaghetti Dinner.

Parish Improvements
St. Malachy Council sponsored the Memorial to the Unborn with walkway, working in conjunction with David Bertsch to fulfill an Eagle Scount project. Additional projects include the statues behind the altar of our parish patron saint, St. Philip and KofC patron, St. Malachy, outdoor Stations of the Cross, (etc).
First Sunday Rosary
St. Malachy Council, with the help of Fr. Ron Piepmeyer, originated this parish activity beginning December 7, 2014, the day before the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of The Virgin Mary. Thanks to devout parishioners, attendance was strong enough that this has become a monthly event within the parish. It is held in the Adoration Chapel the first Sunday of each month at 10:15 AM, which is convenient for those attending 9 AM Mass, or coming to 11 AM Mass, along with all others who wish to pray this special prayer for intercession and guidance from the Holy mother of Jesus.
